Karen Kerkhoff Gromada has counselled thousands of mothers of multiples as a registered nurse and lactation consultant, is a La Leche League Leader and has more than 30 years of personal experience, as well as being a founder of an LLL Group for families with multiples. She has raised five children, including a set of twins.

Gromada is a popular speaker on many aspects of raising multiples, has published in the Journal of Human Lactation and co-authored Keys to Parenting Twins and is a contributor for TWINS magazine. She is the author of the popular book Mothering Multiples: Breastfeeding & Caring for Twins or More! for La Leche League International, which is into its Third Revised Edition.
