Parental leave benefits. Have you ever wondered why multiple-birth parents get the same time period as singleton parents? Further, has this ever been challenged?

This is your opportunity to learn more. Christian Martin, a parent of twins, and Stephen Moreau, a partner with a Toronto law firm, didn’t just wonder – they brought this inequality through the legal system, up to the Supreme Court of Canada.

As fathers of twins they believed parental leave should reflect the true needs of the situation. Devoting thousands of hours and thousands of dollars in legal costs, they argued the case for equity - for all parents of multiple-birth newborn infants.
