First Aid for Parents Class

Join us for an interactive and informative First Aid For Parents / Grandparents Class.

This one-of-a-kind comprehensive 2+hr course offers easy to understand instructions on how to help your newborn or child in many different emergency situations. It focuses on parents, grandparents or anyone who wishes to further their skills in first aid and CPR as it applies to Infants and Children. Feel confident in your skills and know what to do! This course follows the latest guidelines in first aid and CPR and is TAUGHT BY A RED CROSS FIRST AID INSTRUCTOR WITH EXTENSIVE MEDICAL BACKGROUND IN NURSING. Bring along the grandparents or anyone else who may be looking after your little little.

This course will be offered at The Birth and Wellness Centre, 2260 Walkley Road on Sunday November 26th from 9-11AM.

If possible, it is best to leave the little ones at home as this is a classroom setting.  That being said, we understand that this is not always possible. Babies are welcome if they are in your arms or their car seat.  We only ask that everyone be considerate of the other participants.  In other words, you may need to step out for a minute with your little one if necessary:)

The classroom would not be well suited for toddlers or children.
