MBFA Annual General Meeting (AGM)

  • 21 Jan 2024
  • 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM (EST)
  • Summerhays Grill at 1971 Baseline Road

Registration is closed

This year, we are holding our AGM in an informal setting, at Summerhays Grill at 1971 Baseline Road.

Join us for the meeting and some appetizers and find out more about your organization.

What happens at our AGM?

The AGM is a meeting between our organization’s board and members. During the meeting, members can elect their board of directors, review financial statements, and vote on any changes to bylaws.  Business matters are discussed and resolutions addressed.  It’s also a great opportunity to get to know your board.

Members who are not able to attend, can fill in our Proxy form and forward it to mbfaboard@mbfa.ca to assign another individual to vote on their behalf.

Did you know that each position on the MBFA board of Directors will be voted on at the meeting?

Positions on the Board include:

  • President
  • Vice-president
  • Treasurer
  • Membership director
  • Communications & social media director
  • Events Coordinator
  • Secretary
  • Newsletter editor
  • Prenatal coordinator
  • Resources
  • Bereavement contact
  • Director at large
  • Community liaison
  • Volunteer coordinator

The MBFA has a unique role to play in building a supportive and connected community for multiples families.  And without board members and volunteers, there would not be an MBFA.  In 2024, we will need additional support to fill both official board positions and informal volunteer positions.  We are looking for people who understand the needs and challenges of multiples families - this can include our members, extended family and close friends – that can help us continue with our organization’s mission.

There are many opportunities for you to join our board and make a difference in your community.  If you or someone you know are interested in a specific position or in learning more about board positions or volunteer opportunities currently available, send a message to Cristina at President@mbfa.ca

We hope to see you there!
